About

Aletheia Lutheran International Evangelical Synod (ALIES) is a small but rapidly growing Confessional Lutheran Synod comprised of congregations and mission congregations scattered throughout the world including, Australia, South Korea, New Zealand, Barbados, Nigeria, The Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Our church body maintains without deviation that the original autographs of the canon of Holy Scripture of the Old and New Testaments are the inerrant Word of God, written by inspiration of God, 2 Tim. 3: 16, by the holy men of God, 2 Peter 1:21, as the Spirit gave them utterance, Acts 2:4 and are the infallible and only source and norm for all facets of doctrine, faith and life in the church 2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Cor. 14:37; Psalm 119:160, etc.

Our church body maintains without deviation that the confession of the Evangelical Lutheran Church as recorded in the Book of Concord of 1580, namely, the Three Ecumenical Creeds, Unaltered Augsburg Confession, Apology of the Augsburg Confession, Smalcald Articles, Power and Primacy of the Pope, Small Catechism, Large Catechism, Formula of Concord: Epitome, and the Formula of Concord: Solid Declaration are true and faithful expositions of the Word of God, whereupon the church stands in confession and unity of doctrine.
